This week in Destiny 2: new Exotic class items, Prismatic subclass, The Pantheon, red border weapons, Zero Hour, new PvP maps, and an Expansion Open Access period.
Firstly, a focus on Exotic class items was revealed, along with details about the Prismatic subclass. These Exotic class items will offer two random Exotic perks from a selection of existing armor perks, potentially from other classes. They will be available through a new activity unlocked after the Raid World First in Week 2, offering a guaranteed random roll with each completion.

Also, a new boss profile for The Pantheon was introduced — detailing Oryx, the Taken King. Oryx, a Hive God wielding formidable powers, was dethroned by a valiant fireteam after invading Sol seeking vengeance for his son Crota. The report also touches on upcoming events like the return of the Zero Hour secret mission, offering a craftable version of the Outbreak Perfected Exotic Pulse Rifle. This mission will feature the memorable TR3-VR robot.

There’s additionally the announcement of three new PvP maps: Eventide Labs, Cirrus Plaza, and Dissonance. And, Destiny 2 is now in an Expansion Open Access period until June 3 — offering players a chance to explore any expansions, seasons, and rewards they might’ve previously missed out on. This period is followed by the launch of The Final Shape on June 4, with campaigns from Shadowkeep and Beyond Light remaining accessible to all players.
