Yet another video game company is doing some downsizing. In this case, Sea of Thieves co-developer Radical Forge has laid off “a handful” of employees as part of restructuring “to continue operating in the current challenging market”.
The announcement came via a Tweet which called the situation “heartbreaking for all involved.” The tweet did not specify exactly how many employees are being let go, instead just stating that “their contracts will end earlier than anticipated”. The announcement also states that this won’t impact any of their current projects.

Just a few days ago, MassivelyOP reported that Star Citizen laid off several members of staff as well. A list of now-former employees includes game Director Todd Papy, Lead Producer Jake Ross, Assistant Design Director Dan Truffin, and more.
