While it’s still hard to track down regular stock of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 at MSRP in the US, PC gamers in the UK appear to have access to a decent stack of them. Not only that, but some of the cards are now going for below Nvidia’s original £539 MSRP, with prices now as low as £518.99 for an RTX 5070 graphics card.
While Nvidia has comfortably had the top-end of the GPU market to itself in this generation, with the RTX 5090 being unquestionably the best graphics card right now if you can afford its huge cost (and if you can find 5090 stock anywhere), the RTX 5070 has faced a much tougher competitive battle. The mid-range GPU was immediately faced with competition from the new AMD Radeon RX 9070 series, while the tariff trade war between China and the US has further complicated the market in the US, as has a lack of stock.
