Get A Preview Of What’s To Come In Destiny 2: Echoes Act 2 In The Latest Developer Livestream

Next week is a busy week for games, it seems. Lost Ark’s next big update drops on July 17, the new Final Fantasy XIV raids are released on July 16, and that same day Act 2 of Destiny 2: Echoes will be available to play.

To prepare players for that last one, Bungie hosted a Developer Livestream on Twitch today. The stream begins with a deep dive into what took place in the shooter during Act 1 then delves into the upcoming story. One of the story-related things addressed during the stream is the changes the developers have made to how story content will be rolled out in Revenant, the episode coming in October.

During the stream, the devs also showed off some of the gameplay in the new Echoes Battlegrounds. The Battlegrounds will be part of the Act 2 update. Players were also offered a peek at the new Artifact mods and Seasonal weapons – including the Solstice armor ornaments.
