Once again, it’s time to stock up on snacks and prepare to stay hydrated while Yoshi-P and the Final Fantasy XIV team prove once again that rest is overrated. The 9th 14-Hour Broadcast is on its way. The stream, which is slated to kick off April 12 at 8:00 pm Pacific time (April 13 at 3:00 GMT), isn’t just a regular broadcast, but also part of the MMORPG's 10th Anniversary Celebration.
At the moment, no details as to what will happen in the stream have been provided, but, with this being the 9th one of these, we can make some educated guesses. Like previous ones, it’s very likely that this stream will include a Letter from the Producer Live segment. It will likely also include some fun activities like a quiz show. Other segments will likely feature members of the XIV team highlighting some of the work they’ve been doing on the game. And players can likely expect the obligatory Q&A session.
Beyond that, this stream also seems like a good place to share the official release date of Dawntrail or a look at the collector's set. This would particularly make sense if they do in fact have a Live Letter segment. At this point, the only other possible venue we see for such an announcement is PAX East, but as PAX isn’t just about Final Fantasy, this makes more sense.
