It’s Time To Rediscover The Ancient Cult Location Of The Mystic Altar In Runes Of Magic

Gameforge is introducing another blast from the past to the MMORPG Runes of Magic. Today, they announced a new addition to the Timeless Dungeon series: The Shadow Over the Altar. This new challenge re-introduces players to the ancient cult location of the Mystic Altar. Although, it’s not going to be the same old run they know from before. Yes, it will feel familiar, but it will be different and it will be more difficult. You know. It’s Hard Mode.

To participate in the new instance, players need to be level 100 or higher, have peak levels unlocked, and have completed the “Knowledge of the Ancestors” quests. The challenge is made for groups of up to 12 players and features a brand-new boss, Aukuda the Hero. Yes, the bosses from the original challenge are there as well.

Shadows over the Altar launches in Runes of Magic in just a few days on April 25.
