MMOBOMB
Dec 08, 2023
At The Game Awards, Level Infinite and Sharkmob (the developers behind Bloodhunt, which is currently in maintenance mode) have unveiled their upcoming game: "Exoborne," a tactical open-world extraction shooter.
Set in a world devastated by apocalyptic forces of nature, the game immerses players in a broken southeastern U.S. — torn apart by elemental chaos. The narrative unfolds in the aftermath of Project Rebirth's failure, leading to a global collapse. Players, as survivors called Reborn, utilize powerful Exo-Rigs to navigate a hostile environment filled with warring factions, deadly elemental chaos, and other hostile Reborn.
The game's core features include the dynamic Forces of Nature, where players must adapt to ever-changing conditions, and Exo-Rigs — which grant powerful abilities for both combat and movement. Verticality plays a crucial role in exploration and combat, too. There’s also crafting and customization, as well as acquiring gear from the remains of technology found in the world.
Exoborne also introduces public events, missions, and extraction gameplay, and the game will receive regular live-ops updates.
