New World: Aeternum Shares New Details And Events Planned For Confidential Console Closed Beta

We’re less than 24 hours out from the New World: Aeternum Confidential Console Closed Beta test. The invite-only, cross-play test is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am Pacific time tomorrow (July 25). It will run until Wednesday, July 31, so players should be able to get in some real time with the MMORPG, which means the devs should get plenty of good feedback.

The test is open to players in North America and Europe. As an aside, if you live in those areas and would like to test the game but didn’t get a code for whatever reason, we are giving some away for PS5 in the US, PS5 in the EU, and Xbox. Once you’ve gained access to the test, remember that it does have an NDA. If you’re wondering what exactly players are supposed to be testing and how to provide feedback, that information has been provided on the same page as the NDA information. The general rundown is that they want feedback on the new player experience and the endgame experience. This information will be collected in two phases with the new player experience being first.
