Path Of Exile Affliction Expansion Is Live Now On PC For Your Gaming Pleasure

Path of Exile's Affliction League expansion is live today, and with it comes lots of new toys to play with. There is the new Affliction League, the return of the Ultimatum League, three new Wildwood Ascendancy Classes, and over a hundred new Transfigured Gems.

In the Affliction League, a vile affliction has taken over the forest and covered it in darkness. You must enter the Viridian Wildwood in order to uncover the mysteries and stop the Affliction. Follow sacred wisps as they burn away the Affliction to uncover pathways through the forest.

As you venture through the forest you will come upon the Azmeri Wanderers. Complete quests for the Azmeri Wanderers to a new Ascendancy class. You can unlock Warden of the Maji, Warlock of the Mists, or Wildwood Primalist.

The Ultimatum League is back and has been rebalanced with new modifiers, Atlas passive skills, Keystones, and rewards including both new and reworked uniques. Complete the Ultimatum challenge and the Trialmaster will offer you a deal you may not be able to refuse.

Add to all of this the APRG's new Transfigured Gems and you've got yourself one heck of a good time ahead. You can pick up a supporter pack if you so choose.

Path of Exile: Affliction is live on PC and is coming to Xbox and PlayStation on December 13th.
