After recent hints about a new AMD budget gaming GPU, a new specs rumor for the as-yet unannounced AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT have been making the rounds. According to the rumor, the new GPU is likely to come with two different VRAM options and a clock speed that boosts up to 3.3GHz on certain overclockable cards, and it could be ready for launch in just over a month’s time.
There’s a huge space for AMD to further make inroads into the gaming GPU market with a budget cards based on its RX 9060 series. The company has already seen its best GPU launch in years with the RX 9070 XT, which tops our best graphics card shortlist as the best option for the average gamer. The chipmaker will be looking for similar success at the lower end of the market, too, if it can get the specs and pricing right to match Nvidia’s recently unveiled RTX 5060 Ti.
