It's official, ladies and gentlemen. Riot's Project L fighting game now has a real name, if you can call it that. The game will be known as 2XKO. It's a 2v2, tag-team fighting game, so I guess it makes sense. Maybe it'll grow on me. At least it's not going into launch as Project L.

2XKO will have playtests and demo opportunities in 2024, with the first being a chance to play the game during EVO Japan. Players can sign up for playtesting on the official 2XKO site.
The game takes place in Riot's League of Legends universe, with fighters players will be familiar with from LoL. 2XKO will be free-to-play and is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2025.
