MMOBOMB
May 30, 2024
There’s a lot going on event-wise in Final Fantasy XIV right now. The Moogle event is still underway, as is the Yo-kai event. Both of those still have about a month left to go. Then there’s the Fall Guys event which will run until June 10, but the Make it Rain event comes to an end in just two days. Obviously, we’re going to need more to do.
Luckily for us, the Breaking Brick Mountains (or DragonQuest X crossover) is returning to the MMORPG and it’s not that far off. The event will return for about two weeks on June 5. That means that if you missed out on the rewards last time, you have an opportunity to get them now. That is, of course, if you're not one of the people busy with the unintended event, fighting with MogStation to get it to accept your Visa Debit card since the payment processing company changed.
To take part in the event, players will need to meet up with Havak Alvak in Ul’dah. That will kick off the event quest, which requires players to take part in fates in different areas. Players who complete the quest will earn the Thug’s Mug helm and the Wind-up Brickman minion. A third item, the King Slime Crown, will be available to purchase from the Toughie in Ul’dah.
On an additional note, if you’re playing on PlayStation, Square Enis is offering players a 60% discount on the Final Fantasy XIV Complete Edition and the Complete Collector’s Edition through June 12. That’s ARR through Endwalker.
