Yesterday, Minecraft players got a peek at what the future holds during the Minecraft Live stream. During the hour-long stream, the Minecraft team revealed new DLC content and updates for both Minecraft Legends and Minecraft Vanilla.
One batch of DLC is an official Star Wars crossover, Path of the Jedi. Players will take on the role of a Padawan and have the opportunity to customize their own droid and build their lightsaber. Of course, they’ll be doing those things as they explore and take on different missions. They’ll also encounter well-known Star Wars characters, like Mace Windu, and Ahsoka Tano.
The Patch of the Jedi Drops on November 7. The DLC requires players to have the latest version of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition in order to play.
Another batch of DLC revealed during the event is the Planet Earth III DLC from BBC Earth and Minecraft Education. This will be available sometime next year.
