MMOBOMB

I don't know what I expected when I opened the Q1 2024 Executive Producer's letter from Star Wars: The Old Republic, but whatever it was I was hoping for, I certainly didn't get.
The Q1 Producer's letter is more of a recap of what they've done in the MMORPG over the past few months. A live stream for update 7.5 is expected in April, at least. In a bit of a surprise, however, the Star Wars: The Old Republic Producer's Letter does announce that a new seasonal event for Spring is coming in update 7.5. Seasonal events aren't exactly top-tier content, but it is something new to go alongside the story update that will be coming in 7.5, whenever that lands.
Of course, the big question is how MUCH story content will we be getting in the 7.5 update and when is it coming. The Producer's Letter says that Lane Vizla's story missions will finally come to fruition, so at least we might be getting a bit of closure on something. With the trickle of content that's been coming out of SWTOR over the past few years, it's easy to see why I'm skeptical about exactly how long the content will last for players. Hopefully, we'll get a substantial chunk of content in the 7.5 update for Star Wars: The Old Republic, but we have no release window for the update as of right now.
I guess we'll get a glimpse of what's coming later this month, so fingers crossed that it's a fun amount of content and at least enough to keep us busy for a few hours. There's no date for when we can expect the 7.5 livestream, just that it is expected sometime in April.
