The Division 2, Year 5 Season 2, Is Live Today (Finally!) With The Return Of Incursions

After some delay for "technical improvements", Ubisoft announced today that Season 2 of Year 5 in The Division 2 is now live. Jump in and take part in the shooter's new missions, earn new cosmetics, and witness the return of Incursions.

Season 2 of The Division 2 is titled "Puppeteers". Players must recover hostages in order to learn more about Natalya Sokolova's plans against The Division. As players rescue more hostages they will see improvements to The Castle as part of the settlement's ongoing rebuild. While rescuing hostages, players have a chance at earning items from the Free and Premium tracks.

Along with this update comes the return of Incursions from the original The Division game. These are four-player missions requiring high skill with unique mechanics and challenging boss encounters. Earn an exotic item each week by clearing that week's Incursion mission.

Ubisoft also said that the annual winter holiday celebrations will be back in The Division 2 come December.
