MMOBOMB

The dates are set and the battles have already started. Who will be competing at the DOTA 2 International 2025? Yeah, we don't know that yet. You can watch some of the teams working to qualify, but we'll have to wait a bit to see the bracket. Ok, so teams aren't locked in yet, but what about the tickets, pricing, and prize pool? Yeah, sorry we don't know that yet either. It's coming soon. GGScore has the prize pool at $1.6 million, but that will certainly go up with whatever campaign DOTA ends up doing.
What we do officially know about the MOBA's annual championship thanks to a new post on the game's site is the location and the dates of the event. This year, The International 2025 is headed back to Germany as a celebration of where the event began 14 years ago. The team is reasonably sure the audience size will be a bit bigger than the "tens of people" that watched the very first event.
The event will take place September 11-14 at Hamburg's Barclays Arena, a venue that seats about 15K people provided there's nothing blocked off for viewing angles.
We'll keep you posted as the prize pool grows, teams lock in their spots, and tickets become available.
