When World of Warcraft’s Dragonflight: Guardians of the Dream update arrives on November 7, it will bring fire with it. Specifically, Fyrakk and the Druids of the Flame will enter the Emerald Dream by force. At the same time, the Dragon Aspects are working with Tyrande and the night elves in an effort to protect Amidrassil from those who would threaten it with fire.
This gathering, on both sides, is what is shown in the in-game cinematic shared on the MMORPG's YouTube channel today. It also offers us a glimpse of the new Emerald Dream zone that will be introduced with the update and sets up some of the story for the game’s next raid.
In additional World of Warcraft news, Blizzard is now offering a twelve-month subscription, according to a post on WoW Head. This sub is now available on the game’s store and includes the Gleaming Moonbeast Mount as well as everything in the existing six-month bundle and whatever will be made available in the next six-month bundle.
There's even some new Night Elf and Druid customization options coming in the update, too.
Note: Activision Blizzard has been sued by California’s Civil Rights Department, alleging violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and Equal Pay Act. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about the alleged violations within his company. These allegations have all been denied by Activision Blizzard and the company points to additional diversity and inclusion training as past examples of taking the accusations seriously at the time they were made.
