MMOBOMB
Jan 02, 2024
Today, the World of Warcraft team dropped the This Week in WoW post, mostly discussing what players can look forward to with the drop of the Seeds of Renewal content on January 16. In addition to unlocking dragonriding worldwide, the MMORPG's update will have players digging through the Azerothian Archives, taking AI companions into Dragonflight dungeons, and completing campaign chapters in the Dragon Isle epilogues.
Before all of that happens, however, there are a few events taking place over the next few days. In fact, today sees both the Dragonflight Dungeon event and the PvP Brawl event, Warsong Scramble, kicking off.
Then, on January 4 and 5, players can expect some more posts about what’s coming in the future. Finally, on January 7, the Darkmoon Faire will be back, so there’s plenty to keep players busy until the update arrives.
Note: Activision Blizzard has been sued by California’s Civil Rights Department, alleging violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and Equal Pay Act. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about the alleged violations within his company. These allegations have all been denied by Activision Blizzard and the company points to additional diversity and inclusion training as past examples of taking the accusations seriously at the time they were made. This case has been settled for $54 million.
