World War II Multiplayer Shooter UNITED 1944 Launches Into Early Access On PC

UNITED 1944,  a multiplayer FPS experience set in World War II, has officially launched on Early Access.

The game has two different modes to play: classic domination and an extraction-based survival mode. There’s three maps, more than 20 weapons, and over 40 skills. Players will participate in 16v16 battles spanning historical locations such as the French Countryside, Northern Africa, and D-Day France. The gameplay involves resource scavenging, outpost defense, base fortification, gear crafting, and dynamic combat.

UNITED 1944 is priced at $30 but there’s a 20% launch discount for the first week, accompanied by a Twitch drops campaign for exclusive rewards. The announcement comes with a roadmap too, revealing plans for new weapons, a map, skills, game systems, and more throughout the upcoming months into early 2024.

There’s also a progression system with weekly missions, unlocking rewards for cosmetic customization. Quality-of-life improvements include an inverted mouse option, a toxicity detection system in text chat, and various bug fixes.
