Foamstars Heads Into Open Beta On PlayStation 5, But Only For A Weekend

With a new trailer released today, Foamstars announced an open beta coming to the PlayStation 5 on September 29. The open beta will begin at 9 pm PDT and run through October 1 at 11:59 pm.

The open beta for Foamstars on PS5 will feature two game modes, Smash the Star and Bath Survival. There will be eight characters to choose from. It will be free for all PS5 owners, including those without PlayStation Plus. If you participate in the open beta you will get a bonus skin once the game launches.

Both game modes are 4v4 with Smash The Star being a battle to secure seven knockouts on the enemy team, and Bath Survival being a battle between two teams comprised of two “infield” players and two “outfield” players. Victory is earned by defeating both opponent “infield” players, while “outfield” players support and provide defense for their teammates.
