Foxhole: Naval Warfare Drops Today, Introducing Full-Fledged Maritime Battles To The War Game

Today, Foxhole: Naval Warfare goes live.

This expansion introduces full-fledged maritime battles to the massively multiplayer war game. Players get to command fleets of Gunboats, Destroyers, and Battleships, coordinating with crews both above and below deck to operate various ship systems, launch depth charges, and deploy sea mines. Foxhole emphasizes the importance of moment-to-moment decisions as ships can be damaged and compartments flooded, requiring swift action to stay afloat.

In addition to naval combat, players can embark on amphibious beach invasions, constructing portable harbors to support troops as they conquer enemy fortifications. The update also enhances logistics with new sea-based vessels and introduces towable field weapons for improved battlefield mobility. Submarines are available for piloting now too, adding an element of surprise to naval battles; these stealthy vessels can ambush convoys and disrupt naval invasions.
