MMOBOMB
Dec 30, 2023
Remember Paragon, the free-to-play MOBA by Epic Games from way back when? It is still around today, just under the guise of Paragon: The Overprime and now developed by the South Korean-based studio Netmarble.
Yesterday, the game saw an update introducing new content and adjustments. The update features the addition of a new hero named Boris, along with three new skins — two Heroic skins for Boris and Maco, and one Master Skin for Boris. A skin discount sale was also announced, with reduced prices for various skins until the next update on January 11, 2024.
Hero balance changes are implemented for Grux, Crunch, and Howitzer. The adjustments aim to balance the overall power of their skills, addressing issues such as Grux's Primal Grip being overly powerful and Crunch's rapid growth in the jungle. Howitzer, with three magical damage skills, sees adjustments to reduce his impact in lane combat.
The update includes significant item balance changes as well, introducing new items like Sensory Amplifier, Jelly Po, Margot's Holy Grail, and three new Karma items — Vitality Surge, Undefeatable, and Mana Expulsion.
Additionally, eight new emotes are added. Several system improvements and changes are made too, including the addition of a replay match feature, a nickname change system, and a pause feature for custom games. And other various bug fixes and optimizations were implemented to enhance the overall gaming experience
