Gigantic: Rampage Edition’s New Hero Roland Is GoingTo Be Difficult To Avoid

It’s been a month since Gearbox announced the return of the MOBA Gigantic as Gigantic: Rampage Edition. The game is slated to launch on April 9, bringing with it new content, including two new Heroes. At the time of the announcement, they gave us their names, but not much else. Today, the dev team dropped a spotlight video featuring one of those heroes, a ranged DPS named Roland.

Roland’s a tough guy who lost his arm a while back. He’s fine though, because… grappling hook. Turns out he’s fond of gadgets and is armed with things like drones and entangling bolas. His choice of actual weapon might seem a bit archaic combined with his collection of tech. Our guy likes to carry a blunderbuss. Honestly, it does fit his aesthetic.

Play-wise, Roland is going to be difficult to stay away from – not that he needs to be right on top of you anyway. But with that grappling hook, he’s going to be able to zip his way around most of Gigantic: Rampage Edition’s maps. Worse, he can even set traps for his enemies. Roland is going to be one to keep an eye out for on the battlefield.
