Halloween Events, A 24-Person Quest, And More! Here's PSO2 New Genesis's 2023 October Update Plans

Sega has revealed the October updates for Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis (NGS) in their latest NGS Headline program.

Starting October 4, players can take on the limited-time quest called "Night Chill Battle" on Kanai Isle in Aelio. Then on October 11, Chapter 6, Part 3 of the Main Story will be release. Also, the Retem region will see an update, featuring the Warp Saucer — a high-speed transportation device, and new trials called TAMES Trapping and Myenin. High-level Gigantix, Dread Enemies, and Recon Gigants will be added to Rwh Maqead, along with Starless Gigantix invasions as well.

Additionally, as Halloween approaches, the MMORPG will get into the spooky spirit with the limited-time event Halloween '23, transforming both Central City and Retem City for the occasion. The event includes a Halloween-themed Urgent Quest called "Haunted Domain." And players can look forward to a Duel Quest, Duel: Phase 3, taking place on the West Aelio seaside against Zelvin, the new Starless boss enemy.

Finally, on October 25, a 24-player quest named "Dreisen Plant Interception" will be introduced, featuring battles with Megalotix versions of Doldoris Vera and Nils Vera.
