New Free Digital Card Game "Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond" Announced

I’m personally always down for another free-to-play digital card game (as someone who has yet to scratch the itch that Hearthstone left me with after going downhill).

Cygames has unveiled "Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond," slated for release in summer 2024. The game will be available on iOS, Android, and PC, with optional in-app purchases. Features include "Super Evolution" mechanics, allowing players to evolve cards into more powerful forms. Additionally, the Engage button activates a new amulet ability, offering strategic depth to gameplay. The title will feature classes such as Forestcraft, Swordcraft, and the new Abysscraft — each contributing to diverse deck-building possibilities.

The game also introduces main characters like Dreizehn (Portalcraft) and Lovesign (Forestcraft). Players can explore an in-game world using a custom avatar. Beyond card battles, additional features are planned (with details to be revealed later). Tournaments for Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond are set to kick off in 2024, including events like RAGE Shadowverse Pro Tour and the international Shadowverse World Championship in early 2025 — offering substantial prizes and unique rewards.
