Peaceful MMO Sky: Children Of The Light Finally Works Its Way Steam Next Month

Five years later, the MMO made by the creators of Journey, a well-known and critically acclaimed indie game, is finally launching on PC! 

On April 10, Sky: Children of the Light is launching into Steam Early Access. The cozy social MMO has already been available on mobile and consoles. This move, however, aims to refine the PC gaming experience, according to the developers over at thatgamecompany.

To celebrate the occasion, various perks will be available across all platforms — including a special Companion Cube prop for Steam PC and Steam Deck players, as well as a Journey Pack cosmetic bundle featuring items inspired by the iconic game.

During the Early Access period, players can expect double rewards, including Hearts and Treasure Candles. Additionally, a new Traveling Spirit named Dancing Performer will make its debut visit after the Steam Early Access launch. This period will also allow the integration of Steam features such as friend lists, achievements, and support for Remote Play, along with graphical enhancements like HDR and VRR support.

Those who have already played Sky, which broke a Guinness World Record for the most users in a concert-themed virtual world, before can link their existing accounts. A blackout period from April 1 to 10 will precede the launch to finalize preparations.
