The Finals is releasing its mid-season update, complete with a new game mode called "Steal The Spotlight." There are also plenty of bug fixes and balance changes, so let's take a look at what the shooter's mid-season update has in store.
"Steal The Spotlight" is a solo event where players enter the arena at night with a set build and loadout. Cashout stations are guarded by turrets and tripwires, so you had better be careful. Solo Bank It has been removed from the game and the devs thank players for checking out the experimental mode.
Recon Senses are being tweaked in this update, now with a limited reach, and you'll be notified if you're spotted so you can prepare for battle.
Close-range aim assist has received some refinements for controller players who can now use gyro controls on supported gamepads.
10 levels have been added to the career rank with additional rewards, plus the number of rounds needed to get into a ranked tournament has been reduced from 60 to 45. You can now change your loadout in the lobby while you wait for the first match to start.
There are plenty of bug fixes and other balance changes in this The Finals update, and you can check them out on the official site.
