Gothic vampire survival game V Rising is leaving its coffin and stalking the night as it gets set to leave Early Access and head into full release. The 1.0 full release version of the game is set to go live on May 8th on PC with a PS5 version coming later in the year.
V Rising sold more than 3.9 million copies during Early Access, according to developer Stunlock Studios, and garnered an 88% positive review score on Steam.
Version 1.0 will come with new territory to explore, visual customization options for your armor, new equipment sets, and enhanced weapons. An expansive endgame zone, the Ruins of Mortium, sends players to explore the lost society of the vampires.
“After two years of Early Access, we’ve managed to really polish and worked hard on optimizing the game for its full launch,” said Rickard Frisegård, CEO of Stunlock Studios. “We made the most of that time, and we think fans will enjoy an improved experience that really pushes boundaries. We’re excited for both our dedicated fans and newcomers to get their teeth into V Rising and drink it in when it fully releases on May 8th.”
