Wake The Prehistoric Dead In Runescape With A New Boss: Skeletal Rex Matriarch Osseous

On May 28, Runescape, players will encounter a new mid-level boss named Osseous — the latest addition to the MMORPG's Rex Matriarchs lineup. Set in the realm of Anachronia, this skeletal ruler challenges players to employ their necromancy skills. To confront Osseous, they must navigate through her bone-laden lair while watching out for ranged attacks, tail swipes, and summoned minions.

Unlike her predecessors, Osseous requires players to wield necromantic damage to penetrate her defenses effectively. To succeed, players can enlist the aid of undead allies and collaborate with others.

Defeating Osseous promises rewards like a new Necromancy combat ring, a boss pet, a unique title, and the opportunity to liberate baby dino pets with Jail Cell Keys. (That’s the best one.) This update builds upon the original concept of the Rex Matriarchs from 2021, expanding the lore and gameplay with community-driven designs.
