MMOBOMB
Aug 21, 2024
Today, during Opening Night Live at Gamescom, Funcom shared five minutes of gameplay from its upcoming open-world survival MMORPG Dune: Awakening. The video offers players a brief look at the game in action, highlighting some of its features. These include character creation, combat, story, environment, and the survival system.
Players get a look at bases and their features. These include the blood purification system, which turns blood taken from enemies into water. Players can also design their own base blueprints and sell them to other players in the game.
The video covers quite a few features available in the game, but it apparently wasn’t enough for Funcom’s taste. Later this week, during Gamescom, they’ll be sharing 30 minutes of gameplay.
The team also announced that the game would be released on PC in early 2025, but a console version doesn't yet have a release window.
