So here we have Warhaven’s version of the traditional battle pass...
The development team at Nexon for the upcoming free-to-play, big team PVP medieval-fantasy warfare game introduced the World Pass feature in a Dev Log. It blends the Battle Pass and Conquest game mode, designed to visualize player progression by expanding territory on a map as players move their carriage avatars. This system encourages cooperation among players to expand their federation's territory while earning rewards.
First we have Battle Memories, which are earned based on a player's Battle Points per minute during matches. They reflect a player's skill and are used to increase their World Pass combat power. This combat power influences their odds of victory in Conquest battles — although it doesn't guarantee success, ensuring a balanced gameplay experience.
Then we have Patrols, which allow players to use Battle Memories to explore and reveal territory on the World Pass map (which continuously changes as players claim and contest territory). This reflects the collective experience and activity of Warhaven's players, with federations evolving based on performance and status, unlocking new weekly quests.
Additionally, War Contribution and War Rank are introduced exclusively in the World Pass, offering unique rewards and recognizing individual contributions. As the game evolves and player feedback is considered, the World Pass will receive ongoing improvements, the developers pointed out.
Anyways, now that you have the details on Warhaven's battle pass system, check out this new gameplay preview of the Reclamation game mode:
