Texas Chainsaw Massacre is teaching players how to successfully pull off an overhead slam attack followed by a swing attack without stalling the chainsaw when using Leatherface.
In order to pull off the overhead slam attack when using Leatherface, the chainsaw rev meter needs to show between 70% and 99%. This will have Leatherface put the chainsaw above his head for a slam attack. The closer to 99% you are, the more power you'll get back after you perform the overhead slam. In order to perform a follow-up melee swing, you'll want to start your overhead slam at 99%. Otherwise, you'll have to pause to rev the chainsaw back up following the overhead slam due to a stall.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre released a couple of short vids to showcase how to pull off the follow-up attack successfully.
Here's the maneuver done improperly and having the chainsaw stall.
And here it is done properly with no stall.
If sawing people up in Texas Chainsaw Massacre is your jam, you'll definitely want to master the rev meter and this little maneuver in the game.
