Gun Interactive has announced a new partnership with Black Tower Studios for the development of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
This news follows the recent announcement that Sumo Nottingham, the previous co-developer, will no longer be involved with the game. That being said, Black Tower Studios has apparently been working closely with Sumo Nottingham over the past month to prepare for this transition. In the past, the team has co-developed titles such as Predator Hunting Grounds, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Also, Gun Interactive has enlisted several other partners to contribute to The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. These partners include Art Bully Productions for character cosmetics, Testronic Labs for QA testing, Saturday Morning Cereal for game trailers and in-game cinematics, and Odd Gentleman for potential future modes.
