Another well-known industry veteran has made the decision to move on to other things. Today, Bethesda Softworks’ head of publishing, Pete Hines announced his retirement on Twitter. According to his post, Hines is retiring in order to begin “exploring other interests and passions”. This includes donating his time, as well as simply enjoying life. Hines goes on to add that he will remain a part of the community – probably as another fan.
In addition to Hines’ post, Bethesda shared something as well. Their tweet thanks him for his 24 years at the company and acknowledges his contributions to the company.
